Hi, I’m Rebecca

I’m a graphic designer originally from Long Island, New York, and I’ve always been drawn to creative expression and the ways design can communicate ideas in meaningful, engaging ways. I’m especially interested in branding, typography, and visual storytelling, and I enjoy creating work that balances strong concept development with thoughtful execution.

Recently, I’ve had the opportunity to grow both creatively and professionally through hands-on experience. As Co-Vice President of Graphic Design for The Agency at Quinnipiac, I helped lead a team of designers, guiding creative direction and collaborating on client-based projects. I also worked as a Graphic Design Intern at Alzerina Jewelry, where I created social media content and developed a website prototype to improve user experience. Alongside this, I design graphics for The Quinnipiac Chronicle, contributing to weekly publications and strengthening my ability to communicate visually in a fast-paced environment.

Outside of design, many of my interests continue to inspire my work. Softball has been a major part of my life, teaching me discipline, teamwork, and communication, skills that directly influence how I approach collaborative projects. I’ve also always had a strong connection to the arts. Drawing is one of my earliest creative outlets, while photography allows me to capture moments and find beauty in everyday life. Music is a constant source of inspiration, and I’m always drawn to the mood and emotion it creates.

As I continue to grow as a designer, I’m focused on building a body of work that reflects both creativity and intention, while staying curious and open to new ideas, experiences, and opportunities.

My Approach

Every project begins with understanding. I take time to research the audience, context, and goals before moving into ideation. From there, I sketch, explore, and iterate, allowing ideas to evolve naturally into refined solutions. I value feedback and collaboration throughout the process, using it to strengthen both concept and execution.

Design & Iteration

Through sketching and digital exploration, I test ideas, refine details, and continuously improve the work until it feels resolved and intentional.

Simple ideas

By exploring a wide range of ideas and refining them down to their essence, I create solutions that are both intentional and easy to understand.

Lasting impact

My goal is to design work that resonates beyond the surface. I focus on creating experiences that feel thoughtful, cohesive, and purposeful, work that communicates clearly, connects with people, and leaves a lasting impression.

Research & Discovery

I start by asking questions and gathering insight. Understanding the “why” behind a project helps guide every design decision that follows.
